Native support to google drive
i suggest adding native support to google drive so that we can also take out files from drive, local, or from other hosting sites like onedrive or dropbox, etc.

Public HTTP frontend previews
Its very hard to give access to one person at a time to look at a frontend project, so instead of doing all that, why not add a "make app public" option? so that other people can access it and I can easily preview my next js apps with a simple command: 'npm run dev' and then share the localhost link to others to show them previews

Preserve the idx IDE configuration
Make a feature or improvement where we can preserve the IDE configurations like themes and other configurations.
Once we log out from the IDE after 1 or 2 days, the theme resets, all the default configurations are reverted, and all the extensions are removed.10 votes -
Add an Option for Settings Sync Across Workspaces.
Please include an option for settings synchronization across workspaces. Users may not prefer to customize every new workspace they create, so it would be more convenient if these settings were automatically synced across all workspaces.

Make AI code completion typescript friendly
So I did give a testflight to Project IDX and I found out that it quite fails when using react starter with typescript.
I started converting counter to todo app and it gave answers in typescript but it should've noticed the file being .tsx so it should give suggestions in typescript over javascript.

Preview Display For Non-Web Applications
To be able to show an application running on the Project IDX VM, for example I use c++ and it would be cool to be able to see the applications that I am compiling and building.

You could connect to Figma designs, then help generate components with correct styling. It would also be great to leverage something like Tailwind for styling.

Better out of the box preview for plain HTML+CSS+JS site
I cloned my static HTML+CSS+JS site.
On a local machine, I could literally double click index.html and get an instant preview. If I wanted to be a bit more fancy, I'd spin upnpx serveI expected IDX to display a small "preview" icon at the top right when opening an HTML file. It claims support for web, but isn't able to preview the most basic web page out of the box.

web preview port
We should be able to change the port of the web preview tab. I run laravel and the application starts on port 9002 (9000 and 9001 are used) but the web preview is listening on port 9000 which is a black page.

Google colab
Google Colab is an awesome way to get access to workflows that require a GPU but a Jupyter notebook is not as powerful as working from an IDE.
This idea would be to allow IDX to open within or attach to a Google Colab VM for a more fully featured development experience for AI applications.
