Live previews for more languages
I am currently using IDX for PHP development and would like to request the addition of native live preview support for PHP projects. While I appreciate the IDE's capabilities, I have found that previewing PHP files directly within the workspace is not possible without external server configurations.
The ability to view the output of PHP files in real-time, with minimal setup, would greatly streamline the development process, especially for PHP developers like myself. This feature would remove the need for constantly managing external PHP servers and provide a seamless, integrated experience.
Having a built-in preview system for PHP, similar to…

Encrypt sensitive config data
Most projects are parameterized at least with regards to sensitive config data, like credentials or dotenv files. These need to be stored somewhere, but not in git. They also need to be available when running previews or onStart scripts. IDX could either integrate with Secret Manager or allow its own config store (compare Gitpod's repo specific env vars: https://www.gitpod.io/docs/configure/repositories/environment-variables#environment-variables).

Create a sharable link for unauthorized users
For quickly sharing your current site or app state with somebody else without them requiring to authorize or being added as an workspace member.

Allow access to mapped URLs from another workspace, so that a frontend project can talk to a backend (API) project.
Allow access to mapped URL from another workspace, so that a frontend project can talk to a backend (API) project.
For instance, https://3000-idx-sermons-nextjs-1723133529534.cluster-hf4yr35cmnbd4vhbxvfvc6cp5q.cloudworkstations.dev/ making requests to https://3001-idx-sermons-backend-1723134362471.cluster-joak5ukfbnbyqspg4tewa33d24.cloudworkstations.dev/api/some-endpoint
This is presumably possible when it's a client-side request since you'll be logged in to Project IDX, but it's not currently possible for server-side requests - the request gets redirected to the OAuth flow.

Network Instability and Unexpected Reloads
Just a heads up - noticed that the browser-based code editor tends to reload randomly when the network gets shaky. It'd be awesome if we could add a quick alert or something to let users know when it's happening. Cheers!

html, css development problem in live environment
You can work live in a live environment by installing the "live server" plugin while creating HTML and CSS software. It provides much better usability than the "HTML PREWIEV" plugin in the "vs code" application. but tools are needed for greater ease of use.

Request for Flutter Support with iOS Simulator in IDX
Please include support for the iOS simulator within IDX for Flutter projects. This addition would greatly simplify the process of testing and debugging iOS apps directly within IDX, eliminating the need for external tools or complex setups. If iOS support is disabled, kindly provide a reason for the decision. Thank you for considering this request.
