  1. What If AI could fix your bugs? Or if you imported a program and it didn't match up with the proper file placement, your AI could figure out where each file should go, and move them as such. Or if you made a typo, AI could figure out how to fix it.

  3. So I did give a testflight to Project IDX and I found out that it quite fails when using react starter with typescript.

I started converting counter to todo app and it gave answers in typescript but it should've noticed the file being .tsx so it should give suggestions in typescript over javascript.

  4. I would like project support these platforms along with the emulators. Flutter currently doesn't support it for cross platform development. However, for native development it would be a great addition.

Thanks to project IDX. I can now code with minimal hardware requirements.👍

  5. Like Firebase, we can now use Web Frontend Framework on top of Python, but still not ready for the Full-Stack Python Web Frameworks, e.g. used for Plone CMS, written as a Full-Stack Web App CMS.

  7. Have global keys and config for git without log in every time you make a new project, also bumping the custom git configuration. Then you can one-click import repos from any git server configured.

  8. Firebase has device streaming which is available in Android Studio. This allows developers to connect to different emulators running on Firebase servers. Having this option in IDX will be a useful tool and we can get access to different emulators such as foldables and more recent Android versions for testing our Flutter apps.

  9. I am not able to see the logs of the web preview that is used by the environment. After launching my environment (using nextjs), I use the web preview but I am not able to view the server logs. If I log information on the server or in an action, there's no way to view them.

  12. When I started my workspace I had only thought of one use case but then the scope evolved and my original workspace name no longer reflects what my workspace does. I tried "Save workspace as..." but it didn't change the folder name and it didn't permanently change the workspace name the next time I loaded the workspace.

  13. Current file import options limited to github (and ssh). Ability to navigate local directories, net mount points, cloud storage blobs and URLs would be epic!

A+ so far, cannot wait until Project IDX public launch ;)

  15. Add Cloud native backend template / integration with tools like Serverless framework, Openshift, Docker app, etc or even with popular cloud services such as aws lambda, step functions, multiservice (eventbridge boilerplate) or AzC / GCP equivalents...

  18. I created a login and registration system in Next JS using Next Auth using Google's 0auth, but when the feature is run it is always blocked by a proxy or firewall from the IDX project, even though when I run it on my local PC it is normal

  19. 'm encountering a CORS error when using GoogleIDX in my Express.js project. My application can't access https://workstations.cloud.google.com/devshell/gateway/oauth due to CORS restrictions.

Enabling CORS on the server is preferred over a proxy server. I'm using express and cors with the following code (example provided if needed).

I've also tried adding the Access-Control-Allow-Origin header but without success.

Could you investigate and suggest solutions?

    Thanks,
    Kartik Kumar

    Additional Information (Optional):

Error Message: GET https://workstations.cloud.google.com/devshell/gateway/oauth?... 403 (Forbidden)
Using latest express and cors versions.
This removes extra spaces while keeping the content concise.
