Preserving github login and permissions
Each the vm gets assigned to the project, user has to login and authorize the github to sync the changes.
So, it would be nice to have a feature where the cookies set by github can be transferred to new vm and user does not get prompted to sign in each time user gets a new vm.

Hi Kano - we fixed this issue a few months ago where Github login details are persisted between subsequent IDX launches. Can you please file a bug? Our team will take a look at it: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/new?component=1379083&template=1836320
