Add Support to input basic info in flutter
Since we have to change several files just to change project name in flutter why not add the support to change it when the project starts it self instead of it being myapp for all projects why don't we make it so pubspec.yaml says the project name

Pause button for Gemini responses
I suggest that Gemini has a pause button while it's thinking so you can start reading responses instead of having to wait until it's done since the responses keep scrolling the screen.

Bad instance server UTC Timestamp
When I asked to add as a start of Gemini answers (in a conversation) the current timestamp.
I was surprised that the answer was "I take as reference the timestamp of the server where I am running and for me UTC is 202310-27 (while we are in France for Paris today 202401-07)2 votes -
GIT PROJECTS FOR GEMINI 2.0 FALSH THAT RUN IN IDX
I am having difficulty to run the GIT Gemini 2.0 Cookbook projects in IDX. Too time consuming. Also Gemini code assistant gave up trying to resolve the NIX environment issues. Also can not get the following project to run:

It should not be so complex to accomplish running Google Git repositories in the Google environment. I have a million use cases for Gemini 2.0 Flash and need to move faster. Thank you for your time.

Feature Request: iOS Simulator Support in Project IDX for Flutter
Project IDX has great potential, but expanding its iOS Simulator and Deployment to App Store capabilities would make it even more powerful. Here's what I propose:
iOS Simulator Integration - the capability to test and debug directly in Project IDX, without having to go into any macOS device;
App Store Deployment - deploying iOS applications directly in the App Store;
iOS Full Development Toolset: advanced debugging, performance profiling, and resource management.
This will not only smooth the workflow but also make ProjectIDX full-fledged for the all flutter developer. Let's unlock its full potential!

users should be able to connect their mobile phones to project idx to test apps
emulators are slow to test the android apps built in flutter . i want to connect my mobile phone to idx so i can test apps fastly.

Show proposed changes inline in the file like Windsurf
Instead of showing proposed changes in the chat, show it right in the file, that's much more intuitive. Also completing all steps and asking me to "Accept All" or "Reject All" after is more intuitive than accepting 1 step at a time.

Uprade to latest code-oss
Current version of 1.89.1 was last updated in June in IDX, and running into issues with some of the newer/updated VSIX extensions.

Have backend port forwarding work with any protocol.
I've been trying to connect to the postgres server running in IDX using the public "backend ports" feature, and I cannot figure out why it's not working.
So I'm guessing that these only work for HTTP. I'd like to be able to publicly connect to any forwarded ports regardless of what protocol they're using.

python flask web server -> test creation
seems very difficult to create some testcases for a python flask web app, i did end up outside, so maybe it could improve usabilty, even i fully understanbd tests are overestimated :-)
