integration and compatible with vscode
I request that since both vscode and idx have very very similar ui i just wish that my settings will easily export from one to another like both of them have "code runner" extension by "Jun Han" in vscode marketplace and by "formulahendry" in idx if i change anything in settings my shortcuts and so on in this extensions or rather in general i wish im able to easily access my files from github( since every devceloper uses it) or even google drive, local file directory or any other thing i should be able to sync all my settings, extensions,…

Grant access to use authentication for login and registration
I created a login and registration system in Next JS using Next Auth using Google's 0auth, but when the feature is run it is always blocked by a proxy or firewall from the IDX project, even though when I run it on my local PC it is normal

CORS Error with GoogleIDX in Express.js Project
'm encountering a CORS error when using GoogleIDX in my Express.js project. My application can't access https://workstations.cloud.google.com/devshell/gateway/oauth due to CORS restrictions.
Enabling CORS on the server is preferred over a proxy server. I'm using express and cors with the following code (example provided if needed).
I've also tried adding the Access-Control-Allow-Origin header but without success.
Could you investigate and suggest solutions?

Using latest express and cors versions.

Cloud-IDE integration
Integrating UI or CLI interactions (that are necessary to manage cloud resources) into the IDE:
- error console
- logging console
- resource information list (for a particular code base)
- Ways for cloud providers to do something like Live Lambda Development in a way that's native to IDE (see https://docs.sst.dev/live-lambda-development)

Option to download files from the Dashboard, from Workspace option.
Right now I cannot to access my Workspace which contains many code files and I am locked out due to some error. we can avoid this by allowing users to download all of the contents that are in the workspace like how "Gitpod" handles, directly allowing them to download the files by adding additional "Download" option in the workspace option. even if there are now virtual machines are available users would be able to access their files.

Please Add Old Language Programming Like COBOL
Maybe this is not necessary or important to most peoples. But, it will be good if all programming language is applied to Project IDX, so people can choice what programming language they will use. For me, I need to use COBOL because of my work. It will helpful if developer can reach this request.

status indicator for network / server / vm / status.idx.dev in workspace,
Somewhere in the bottom of the workspace window, it would be cool to have the option to see the status of the connection, like network quality, and maybe even VM load, etc,
Sometimes, interaction gets slow, like syntax highlighting and the response from Gemini, etc. It makes me wonder if it's my connection or the server/vm I'm on.
Having something as simple as colored bars showing network and server health would be helpful.1 vote -

You can never imagine what a revolutionalizing project you have created. You just made my whole life releasing this advanced tool enabling me to create in the environments and frameworks I could never have been able to use due to my low system resources but now I just need the broser chrome and I have everything to develop and work upon.

"Copy" menu option in Workspace(project) menu.
"Your workspaces" list my workspace/project.
Looking for "Copy" option similar from "Rename".

Switching between node versions and angular version

Open external files
I have a very urgent request for a feature. At the moment I can only edit files that I create in the app or import from GitHub.
I would like to be able to open files from my desktop and continue editing them. At the moment I have to manually change my code in my files on my desktop at any time so that they are synchronized.
Please, please implement this feature! For me this is one of the most important features for using and working with Project IDX. Thank you very much!
