Deploy an iOS to the app store from IDX
Deploying an iOS app to the app store currently requires Xcode to build the IPA file and then the macOS transporter app to drop the IPA file into App Store Connect. It would be great to give developers the ability to publish an iOS app (built with Flutter or another framework) to App Store without needing to drop down to local apps on a mac machine.

work locally
I wish that Project IDX would be able to work locally as well as in the browser.
So I can take it on a plane and keep working.

Kotlin support
It's possible to add Kotlin + Gradle through NixOS packages, it'd be easier to have this as a template now (to fast-track Ktor, Android and KMP project creation later)

Cloud-IDE integration
Integrating UI or CLI interactions (that are necessary to manage cloud resources) into the IDE:
- error console
- logging console
- resource information list (for a particular code base)
- Ways for cloud providers to do something like Live Lambda Development in a way that's native to IDE (see https://docs.sst.dev/live-lambda-development)

[Hot in 2023-2024] Support Full-Stack Web Framework of Python, like Reflex, Flet, solara, Streamlit, Pyodide, Anvil, ertc.
Recently, we have got many Full-Stack and Frontend Web Frameworks of Python.
- General Purpose Frameworks like Reflex, FastHTML, Anvil, Streamlit, and Flet can work for Mobile Apps.
- Rather Data-Oriented Frameworks like Dash, Gradio-Lite,...
- With Mesop, Google seems targeting Streamlit. Then, Google Web Toolkit was made OSS, "GWT."
- Reflex is capitalized by Y-Combintor, etc.
- And many other frameworks, Pyodide, ReactPy...
- some of them are finally compiled into JS/TS Frameworks, but we can code all by Python. This very hot movement means the shift of value-adding area is going to Gen AI-centric field usually Python deployed,…

Share Project Admin Panel
The implementation of a Share Project Admin Panel would be a significant enhancement. This panel would provide a simple yet effective tool for project owners to manage the profiles of people with whom they share their projects. The main functionalities of this admin panel would include:
Assigning Roles and Privileges:
* Editors: Users assigned as editors can share projects, clone them, etc.
* Readers: Users assigned as readers can view the project but are restricted from sharing or cloning it.This feature aims to improve collaboration and project management within the IDX platform by offering clear and straightforward controls over…

Add template projects for IaaC frameworks/platforms like Ansible, SaltStack, and Terraform
IaaC (infrastructure as a code) is a core component of DevOps, and Project IDX could aid in the growth of talent in that sector by guiding best practice for IaaC projects with templates for the major open-source frameworks on the market. Additionally, IDX support could ease the learning curve for new developers working with YAML and Jinja2 syntax, both of which are very common in these frameworks. If possible, integration with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) to quickly configure a project to connect to and work with a GCP project could be mutually beneficial for IDX and GCP in the form…

Edit template before environment is built
There may be a way to build a custom template, but from the very beginning there should be the ability to change certain settings.
For my particular case, I wanted to build an Angular project using the old modules, and I wish I could select scss from the beginning. I might not have yet found how to do it, but couldn't some common options be available at project creation time?
Or at the very least, a button that says "customize this template" that takes you to a guide or a graphical interface to twiddle with different aspects of the template.

AI Bug fixing
What If AI could fix your bugs? Or if you imported a program and it didn't match up with the proper file placement, your AI could figure out where each file should go, and move them as such. Or if you made a typo, AI could figure out how to fix it.
